March 13, 2004 (9:52am): Steve, Indy posted the following on the G.L.O.R.Y. Message Board:
I wanted to post this message as soon as I got word from Simon Blackhawk, who is at the University of Louisville Hospital with Charley Boy.
Charley Boy underwent SUCCESSFUL surgery to replace the front of her skull, that was severely damaged in the terrible car accident that she was involved in several month ago.
The Neurosurgeon informed Simon and C.B.'s family that everything went very well, and that she should return to her old, feisty self in no time. She is still in recovery at this time, BUT...the doctors have said that the way it looks, she will get to go home tomorrow(Thursday). So...on behalf of the Roberts family, and Simon Blackhawk.....thank you all for your kind thoughts and prayers. While she still has some rehab to go, EVERYTHING LOOKS GOOD!
As soon as things quiet down, either Simon, or someone else from the famly will post and update. But they wanted me to share the good news with all of the great folks who are part of the GLORY Family.
By the way....Simon said that she wanted him to let me know that if I didn't bring her food....she was going to beat me up.......LOL! YEP....Same old Charley Boy!
