Interview with Jade

May 22, 2004 (7:14am): Patch: Hello, Jade. Welcome to the Squared Circle Newsletter, & to Patch's Place. Thanks for taking time to chat with me.

Jade: It's my pleasure, thank you for having me!

Patch: Ok, let's start off with the basics: Height, home town, who you were trained by, & activities away from the ring.

Jade: I'm 5'6", from Guelph, Ontario, Canada, my first couple of months I was trained by Rob Fuego at Squared Circle Training, then furthered my career in modelling. Away from the ring, I am an accountant for a small business, and model.

Patch: How long have you been in wrestling?
Jade: I'm fairly new, I've been in the business for 5 months now.

Patch: When did you work your first show, and with whom did you work it?

Jade: I worked my first show in September 2002 for BCW when I managed "The Franchise" Shane Douglas.

Patch: Do you work primarily heel or baby, and which do you prefer?

Jade: I usually work heel. Both are good, as long as I'm getting feedback from the fans, which tells me that I'm doing a good job.

Patch: What is the best crowd response that you've ever gotten? Positive or negative.

Jade: So far, when Raven spanked me!!...and did it hurt!! LoL.

Patch: What promotions have you worked for in the past, & which ones are you currently working for?

Jade: I have worked for Squared Circle Pro Wrestling, Twins Wrestling Entertainment and Insane Wrestling Federation, and currently working for Border City Wrestling, Prime Time Wrestling, Ultimate Championship Wrestling, and Neo Spirit Pro Wrestling.

Patch: Are you currently involved in any feuds? If so, whom with & how did it start?

Jade: Whoever gets in my man's way, be sure to know, that I'll always be involved, one way or another!!

Patch: What can fans expect to see from you when they see you for the first time?

Jade: Fans will see a girl with style, although she looks innocent, don't forget that she will do ANYTHING to help her man come out on top!!

Patch: Who are your favorite wrestlers?

Jade: My favourite wrestlers are Chris Benoit, A.J. Styles, Chris Sabin, and Kurt Angle.

Patch: If you could wrestle anyone from the WWE, who would it be & why?

Jade: It would definately be Victoria!! She is so talented in the ring and I love the way she carries her "pyscho" character!!

Patch: What has been your toughest challenge?

Jade: Everything's been a challenge to me especially when I was starting out in the business.

Patch: I understand you also model. Could you tell us something about that, including how you got your start?

Jade: I got my start by winning the Model Search in 1997. I went through many competitions, conventions, and signed with a couple major agencies. In 2002, I received the Model of the Year award, which was a great honour! Currently, I just signed with an international agency in Vancouver. I will be travelling to Vancouver, NYC, Chicago, and L.A. for photoshoots within the next few months.

Patch: Jade, we give the stars we interview a chance to say anything they want about the wrestling business. This is your time. Shoot...

Jade: It's hard work, but I love it! You have to love this business to strive harder in what you do. There are sacrifices that are made...always keep your head up and never let anything negative get in your way.

Patch: Where can fans find you on the web?
Jade: Fans can find me at

Patch: Jade, thank you for your time, & the best of luck in your career.
