IWA-MS 11/20 Women's Show Postponed

November 12, 2004 (2:58pm): IWA Mid-South Wrestling returns to action with a double shot of events on Friday, 11/19 at the National Guard Armory (3380 S. Old State Road 37) in Bloomington, IN, and Saturday, 11/20 at the Lincoln Center (2450 Lincoln Street).

We had originally scheduled a double header of events for Saturday, 11/20, with an all-women's card at 4pm, and the regular men's card at 7pm. As IWA-MS is currently in a period of reorganization, in an attempt to recover from financial losses during the past several months, we have been forced to postpone the women's portion of 11/20. Fans who already purchased advance tickets to the women's show can receive a refund in person on the 20th.

In order for us to present the women's show, it would have required that several of the wrestlers be flown in, and advance ticket sales for the event suggested that going through with the show, given the company's current financial state, would not be a wise gamble. The plan is to hold the women's event once we are in a better financial position to bring in the necessary talent from around the country (hopefully sometime in January).

We will still hold one half of the scheduled double main event for the women's show as part of our show on 11/20, as former NWA Midwest/IWA Mid-South Women's Champion Lacey will take on Daizee Haze in a thirty minute iron-woman match.

IWA Mid-South will continue its dedication to promoting a serious brand of women's wrestling, including holding all-women events in the future, but first we must make it through this difficult period for the company as a whole. We thank the fans for their patience.
