This is an extremely hard thing for me to write about at this time. We all have our "Heros" in life. And we all have our influences as to why we want to be in this business. Mine was Nancy "Woman" Benoit.
I never really liked wrestling but my father would watch it, and as he did I would sit along side him watch it also. At the time I did not get the pleasure of seeing Nancy as the Fallen Angel, but later I would view footage and photos of her. Her managerial skills to me were just the greatest thing that I had witnessed. She was not the manager that would stand at ringside and look pretty and do nothing. She was the one who would look good and get involved in the matches. She could be sexy and vicious at the same time. She was always able to adapt to whatever she needed to do, from her "Fallen Angel" to "Robin Greene" and then to the character that influenced me to the fullest to enter the wrestling world: "Woman"
When I saw her I fell in love with the sport and dreamed of being in wrestling as a manager because of the huge impression she left on me. She was a very special lady that was beautiful and TALENTED! I always dreamed that the day would come that I would have the chance to meet my idol. Now, sadly, I will not get that chance as she is gone. But in my heart she will NEVER be forgotten!
