Toe To Toe With Her Opponent
Mickie's opponent in the first round of the tournament was Scotty Vortekz. With hundreds of fans looking on, Knuckles held her own against her male opponent as they slugged it out toe-to-toe with taped-fist shots to each other's head. Mickie slowly gained the upper hand and, as you can see here, began to use her skull as a battering ram as she headbutted Vortekz into a stupor.

Out Come The Light Tubes...
But fists and headbutts aren't really what CZW fans come to see when they buy their tickets. CZW is the hardest of the hardcore...even more so at TOD time. So while it's somewhat unusual for G.L.O.R.Y. fans to see one of our girls in a situation like this, it was no surprise to the fans in attendance when Mickie broke out the light tubes...and proceeded to smash them across the back of Vortekz!
In CZW-land the wrestlers cut no slack for their opponents, whether they be male or female. And they don't care about rules either. When the tide turned against Mickie later in the match, it turned BIG TIME! Vortekz not only battered, mauled and mangled Mickie's body himself, he also got a buddy to help him in destroying and shredding the G.L.O.R.Y. Girl.
The last half of this spectacularly brutal match comes tomorrow. ADVANCE WARNING! When we say brutal, we mean BRUTAL. And bloody. And perhaps disturbing to some fans. If you are not a fan of hardcore...if seeing blood makes you woozy...if the sight of a male wrestler devastating his female opponent in the ring upsets you...THEN SKIP TOMORROW'S G.L.O.R.Y. POD!
