Brawl vs. Brawn!
When G.L.O.R.Y. Girl Amber O'Neal stepped into the WEW ring to face Melissa Coates last month, it was a classic confrontation of styles. Coates, of course, relied on her strength and overpowering physique to carry the match for her. Amber, on the other hand, realized that she could never match-up muscle-to-muscle with her opponent so she relied on the next best thing: brawling and cheating!
It was apparent to Amber early on that she had to find a way to negate Melissa's strength advantage. As you can see from the shot above, O'Neal suffered the indignity of not only being lifted into a sidewalk slam position by one arm...but also being paraded around the ring as Coates flexed and posed for the crowd before smashing her victim to the canvas. Amber knew that she had to fight back hard and dirty. And that's just what she did!
Amber turned to street fightin' tactics as she chopped away at her bigger opponent against the ropes. Cornering the brawny blonde allowed O'Neal to stomp away at her well-trained abdominal muscles, as well as subject her to a less than legal boot to the throat.
But all that cheating and brawling worked. Although she looked exhausted from the strenuous fight, it was Amber O'Neal who came away with the victory.
