Who Said Amber Doesn't Cheat???
In Monday's POD, we related how G.L.O.R.Y. Girl Amber O'Neal resorted to cheating and brawling to defeat the bigger and more muscular Melissa Coates during their WEW contest last month. An Amber O'Neal fan took us to task on the G.L.O.R.Y. Message Board...insisting that Amber doesn't cheat and implying that the blonde was forced to resort to the questionable tactics due to being on the short end of a mismatch.
Well, it turns out that Amber had another match at WEW later that night. Her opponent: Lucy Furr (a.k.a.Daffney). Ed Darcey, who snapped today's action at the show, offers his take on the Amber situation...
"While Amber O'Neal may have seemed to have been forced by circumstances to break the rules against her larger, stronger opponent, Ms. Coates, earlier in the evening, it would seem that she would not have to revert to rule breaking facing the smaller Lucy "Daffney" Furr in a match later that same night. But that's exactly what she did!
Doing her best Hulk Hogan impression, she ripped off her tee-shirt and proceeded to choke Ms. Furr wth it. Then, trapping the brunette in the corner, she resorted to emulating Rikishi and gave Lucy a stink face. Fighting back, Ms. Furr returned the favor...planting her derriere in the blonde's face while Amber was trapped in the corner. In the end, Amber's underhanded tactics were to no avail as she was stunned by the brunette, knocked senseless and pinned. One would hope she learned a valuable lesson about cheating, but only time will tell."
