Cindy Rogers Returns To The Ring

This weekend marked Cindy Rogers' return to the professional wrestling ring when she stepped between the ropes at WSU's 2nd Anniversary event. The popular G.L.O.R.Y. Girl--who had been healing from an injury sustained in mid-2008--took on new WSU roster addition Jetta. It was apparent from the outset of the battle that Rogers hadn't lost a step during her hiatus from the ring. The Definition Of Technician had her opponent tied in knots as she stretched, bent and twisted Jetta's body with an array of intricate holds. Jetta's defense? Cheating! But even that didn't help very much as the little offense she could muster consisted of tangling Rogers in the ropes and yanking at her hair. And she even had to show off when she was doing that (below). Bad decision on her part.

It wasn't long before Cindy was back in charge again, scissoring and stretching Jetta with a match-ending submission hold that earned her the victory...her first of 2009.

To say that the WSU fans in attendance and G.L.O.R.Y. fans everywhere were thrilled to see Cindy Rogers back in the ring goes without saying. Welcome back, Cindy!
