All Tough...No Fluff!

Today we head into the "No Diva Zone" to bring you some action between Melanie Cruise and fellow G.L.O.R.Y. Girl Nikki Roxx. Now, don't get us wrong. We have nothing against divas. But sometimes we need to take a break from the sparkly gear, the skipping down the entrance ramp, the bright smiles, the pin-up model attributes...and just get back to the wrestling in its rawest form. These two ladies did just that when they met up for a battle last month in Illinois.

Nikki set the tone early on when she unloaded on Cruise with a massive forearm shot to the chin that had the brunette seeing stars [Picture #2]. But Melanie quickly got past the star-gazing and answered with her own tough tactics. A snap suplex did its job when it disoriented Nikki [ #3] and set up the New Englander for a breath-stealing sidewalk slam [ #4]. If Nikki wanted to play rough in this match, Cruise was willing to indulge her! A big bodyslam followed [ #5] as it appeared that the 6-foot tall Chicagoan was on her way to victory.

But you can never count out Nikki Roxx...

The long-time G.L.O.R.Y. Girl only needed the slightest of openings to turn the match around and she did so with a crunching back elbow in the near corner [ #6]. The blow had Ms. Cruise seeing stars for the second time in the match...but this time Nikki wouldn't give the brunette a chance to recover as she locked up and then drove her opponent into the mat with the dreaded Barbie Crusher [ #7]. The maneuver did its job as the spine, neck, skull and just about every other bone in Cruise's body absorbed the devastating shock. Even Melanie's manager for the match, G.L.O.R.Y. Girl Annie Social, was at a loss to help her wrestler at this point! The only thing left for Nikki Roxx to do was wait for the referee to call for for the final bell [ #8].

By the way, that is special referee and G.L.O.R.Y. Girl Mia Martinez you see in the final picture preparing to slap the mat for the third and final time to mark the end of this tough battle.
