Do We Really Have To...?
It's been a kind of an unwritten rule here at G.L.O.R.Y. Wrestling: root for the G.L.O.R.Y. Girl when she's in the ring against a girl who is not profiled here on the site. Well, Brittany Force just may have us rethinking that stance. Take a look at what happened when she took on spunky blonde firecracker Angel Dust in Morgantown, West Virginia, just over a week ago.
It was easy to root for G.L.O.R.Y. Girl Brittany when she had her opponent stretched in a seated surfboard hold [above]...a painful yet perfectly legal hold. But as the match progressed, Force turned to her usual underhanded tactics...and this is where we have a real problem rooting for her! Take a look as she ruthlessly chokes Angel Dust over that middle ring rope [Picture #2]. Then she uses a handful of hair to slam the smaller girl face-first into the far turnbuckle [ #3]. Still not satisfied that she's administered enough punishment, Force pins the blonde's throat between boot and ring ropes as she tries to crush little Angel's windpipe [ #4]. The violent G.L.O.R.Y. Girl finishes off the brutal assault with a swinging neck-breaker [ #5] that dusts Angel and sets her up for an easy pin.
Sure, we like to root for our G.L.O.R.Y. Girls when they step into the ring. But the violence and brutality that Brittany Force displays week in and week out during her matches makes us think that we may just have to make some exceptions to that rule!
