Veteran Schools The Rookie
G.L.O.R.Y. Girl Jana has been around the ring long enough to have learned a few things. Now in her sixth year of professional wrestling, Jana still wrestles almost monthly at her "home fed"...West Paterson, New Jersey's, Independent Wrestling Federation. When the veteran took on IWF rookie Alissa at a recent show, she taught her a valuable lesson in who to trust in the ring.
Early in the match, Alissa caught the vet by surprise when she secured a nicely-applied leg scissors in the middle of the mat [Picture #2]. After a fair amount of time, Jana was finally able to extricate herself from the hold and get to her feet. Being the sportswoman that she is, Jana immediately offered her hand to congratulate the rookie on her skillful maneuver [ #3]. But once Alissa clasped Jana's hand she realized the mistake she made as the veteran G.L.O.R.Y. Girl turned the handshake into a quick whip against the far ropes. On the rebound, the blonde found herself being hoisted into a perfect sidewalk slam and plastered into the mat [ #4].
We hope young Alissa learned a valuable lesson during this match. Who do you trust inside the ring ropes? The correct answer: Nobody!
