Wrestling On Wheels
Something a little different today as we take a look at some West Coast Roller Derby action...a scrimmage, actually, that took place last month. If you have never seen the sport before, think pro wrestling on roller skates. Lots of speed, jostling elbows, flying fists and (usually) more than a fair amount of hair-pulling.
What caught our eye was the lady out on the left side of the front row [above]. Her name? Abby Noxious [Picture #2]. Her number...N2O4...is quite appropriate for Abby. When we first saw Ms. Noxious in her scary white makeup [ #3], our initial thought was that this was G.L.O.R.Y. Girl Mistress Belmont taking on a second career on wheels!
While she is not a wrestler, Abby Noxious certainly looks like she could be right at home in the ring, don't ya think? Besides being a roller girl, Abby is also a model [ #4] and has her own band called The Order Of The Fly. We haven't heard their music yet, but we get the feeling that they don't have any Nat King Cole or Tom Jones stuff in their repertoire.
