Rookie Newcomer Defeats AmyLee (With LOTS Of Help!)

Wrestlin' Wally was not only a photographer at last weekend's WWWA event...he turned reporter as well! Check out Wally's report below on the brawl between G.L.O.R.Y. Girl AmyLee and newcomer Khrystyn Taylor.

A new wrestler on the independent scene--self-proclaimed Simply D'Vyne Khrystyn Taylor--made her East Coast debut Saturday night at the acclaimed Zern’s Market in beautiful downtown Gilbertsville, Pennsylvania. (Not much is known about Simply D'Vyne, but word on the street is that she is being trained by one of the toughest women in wrestling today!)

In WWWA action, Ms. Taylor decided to start with a bang by challenging long-time WWWA star and one-time women’s title holder Pryme Tyme AmyLee. What she lacked in experience, Simply D'Vyne made up for in strategy, attacking Amy Lee before the bell even sounded. Khrystyn had Amy Lee reeling after a series of dropkicks and a monkey flip, but over-reached when she tried to lift the bodacious AmyLee off the mat. AmyLee converted it into a body slam and a big leg drop; she then pounded the rookie further with a splash into the corner, which unfortunately took the referee down as well. AmyLee seemed to seal the deal by bulldogging Taylor's face to the mat. But when AmyLee tried for a pin, the ref was still in dreamland. It was at that moment that things got REALLY interesting as Monique Mercy entered the ring with a chair, KO'd AmyLee with it and then draped a barely conscious Simply D'Vyne over the prone AmyLee. A revived ref saw only THIS pin, and after hitting the three count, proclaimed Ms. Taylor the winner.

To the shock of all present, Khrystyn joined with Monique and Original Hat Guy in abusing a dazed AmyLee. But Monique, making sure the upstart rookie knew who was queen bee, cut Ms. Taylor down with a clothesline. AmyLee, after recovering some, then challenged Monique AND Simply D'Vyne to a 3-way match at the upcoming WWWA show on March 14. The challenge was accepted and as a satisfied Monique and Hat Guy withdrew, pandemonium broke out as AmyLee and Ms. Taylor brawled in the aisles. Monique Mercy’s strategy to take over the WWWA seems to be working. Divide and conquer. Deny AmyLee another win, but put Ms. Taylor in her place as well. Expect the March 14th match to be brutal!
