WSU Slugfest II
Yesterday we watched as G.L.O.R.Y. Girls AmyLee and Mickie Knuckles slugged it out while sitting face-to-face in the middle of the WSU ring. Well, their Saturday battle in Union City, New Jersey, didn't stay inside the ropes...and when the action spilled out to the arena floor [above] the slugfest was just as violent and brutal.
Especially for Mickie Knuckles!
The Midwest wrestler was battered over and around the steel barricades...even absorbing a vicious AmyLee low-blow headbutt while helplessly laid out on her back [Picture #2]. Then it was a piledriver that the brutal biker babe used to crunch Knuckles' head into the concrete [ #3]. Or was it a pedigree? Doesn't really matter...Mickie's skull was rattled either way!
Back in the ring, Ms. Knuckles' pain continued as she was bulldogged face-first into a steel chair that AmyLee grabbed from beneath a ringside fan [ #4]. The amount of abuse that Mickie battled through during this match was beyond belief...but being blasted into a piece of steel like that is more than any wrestler can be expected to endure. In the end, it was AmyLee who came away with the victory. The stunned and disoriented Mickie Knuckles was left sitting in the ring trying to recover from the beating...not knowing whether her head or her ribs hurt worse [ #5].
